Hmm, maybe I should make a blog called "women whose hair is so thick they don't know what to do with it!" lol...I got 3 or 4 inches cut off yesterday. I'm regretting it now, because at least before when I pulled it back (which I always do) there was curl in the ponytail...now, it's a thick stump! It does feel much lighter, though. I could do like my daughter (hair not as thick as mine), straighten it just about everyday...I DON'T THINK SO!
I'm still thinking about shaving a little of the underside....

Hey, it looks great! Very interesting! How does that fizz ease curl spray work? Usually I wear mine in a pony tail with a headband to keep it out of my face, but sometimes I just use the headband and leave the rest curly. I use the frizz ease mousse and it seems to work ok as long as the hair isn't too long, then the weight straightens out the curl - wondering if the curl spray would work better when it is longer.

I'm still messing around with the whole line of products. I use the spray on my damp hair and then use gel. I also use the spray on my dry hair to reactivate the curl. I usually need to pull our the hair dryer for a couple seconds to really get the curls to bounce back. I think I have been washing my hair too much. I'm trying a new washing routine where I wet my hair in the shower and put conditioner on everything but the roots and the just wash the roots with shampoo, rinse and then more conditioner on everything but the roots. I rinse out the conditioner at the end of my shower. My hair has changed over the year so much. I get a good routine going that makes my hair look fab and then it stops looking fab and I start trying different stuff again! Ugh!!

This is why I follow natural hair blogs to get some tips and inspiration to keep trying to love my curls!
